I heart NARS!

Recently i have been really loving NARS products but it was a bit of a bummer as i had to travel an hour to get to my nearest NARS counter. Untillllll...... someone told me their was a NARS counter in Milton Keynes. I don't know how i missed it as a few of my friends work there and they never mentioned it well of course i had to go straight away and find it!! The lady on the counter said they had been there a year and a half i must have been walking around with my eyes closed for that year and  half. Now i live in the great satisfaction that i can get in my car travel 20 mins down the road and go and see all NARS has to offer!!

Of course i had to make up for the year and a half that i had missed out on and treat myself to a few bits. They had a buy 3 products and get a free gift offer on so i couldn't resist. I picked up a Eyeshadow Duo (like i don't have enough eyeshadow) the famous NARS eyeshadow pro-prime & one of there new satin lip pencils.

1. Satin Lip Pencil in Lodhi its lovely coral shade and i really love the formula feels amazing on the lips.
2. Pro-prime smudge proof eyeshadow base. I have heard so many rave reviews on this and i was going back and forth between the urban decay primer potion and this and this won i cant wait to try it out.
3. NARS eye shadow duo in cordura, i love wearing a smokey eye and have loads of eye shadows. The swatch doesn't show the colours that well but they have little specks of gold glitter in that make them look amazing.

I can't wait to go out at the weekend and use them all together eeekkkkk :)

Now for the amazinggggg free gift its a biggen..

Look at all the free stuff theres so much i was bursting with excitement to get home and have a look at everything closely.
So it contained 3 NARS skin products an Aqua Gel luminous, purifying foam cleanser and gentle cream cleanser, i've never tried any of their face range so looking forward so seeing what there like.

Next was a little sample of famous sheer glow foundation which i've wanted to try for agessssssss it looks like quite a darker shade then i would usually use but as i'm going on holiday in 9 days and will be getting a tan it couldn't of come at a more perfect time.

We have 2 different primers pro-prime multi protect primer and pro-prime optimising primer. i have a new obsession with primers i have brought 2 in the last 2 weeks so i'm still trying out which i think is the one for me.

Also there was a tinted moisturiser which was on my list of holiday things to buy.

There was 2 makeup minis to try a lip gloss in the colour gold digger and a soft touch eyeshadow pencil in aigle noir.

The best free gift ever right? My advice quick go to a NARS counter and grab you free gift NOW!

Yankee Candles

Sorry i have been away for the last couple of days. Ive had such a hectic weekend and work is starting to get manic as i go on holiday in 11days!!!!!!!! eeeeekkkkkkkk (so excited) but today i am back with a post about my beloved yankee candles.

I loveeeee yankee candles. Its one of them things i just cant buy one of and i like to have every kind of size and sort of candle not only to smell nice but look pretty on my chest of draws in my bedroom.
If i don't have 5 yankee candles at a time it makes me sad :( its a weird obsession i no but my room always smells lovellllyyyy.

Heres the 5 that are taking place in my room at the moment..

(From left to right)

1. Black Cherry - This is the smallest size yankee candle i have and its one of my faves especially if its a cold rainy night and i'm watching a nice film with a cuppa.

2. Wild Passion Fruit - This is a medium sized candle and i don't use this one overly much, when im cleaning my room and its the middle of the day i will use this as its got such a powerful smell it just makes everything feel fresh.

3. Pink sands - I have this in a large size. I loveeeee this one it relax's me so much when i've had a shower n doing all my beauty things this is the one i chose to light unfortunately i have none of this left :( but that means i have an excuse to go out and buy some more yayyyyyy.

4. Beach Walk - This smells like its name a beach walk, if you close your eyes while smelling it i think i can actually hear the sea in my ear. I light this with my next candle and it makes the best combo.

5. Clean Cotton - My favourite all time candle in the world i have had countless ones of these and it will always be on the top of my draws it smells like fresh sheets 24/7 and who doesn't love clean bed sheets.

Do you have any favourite candles?  Any scents of yankee you could recommend me?

How Much My Face is Worth!

I've seen a lot of people do this post and i loveeee looking at the total cost and being blown away. As you buy make up here and there you never really no how much you have spent on make-up through-out the years. My make up daily is a mix of high end and drugstore products and it normally changes from day to day. This is just a typical day when i got ready for work :)

Im listing these things in order that i put them on my face
1. Collection Ready & Primed £5.99
2. MAC Studio Fix Fluid (NC 15) £20.50
3. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer "fair" £4.19
4. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder "Transparent" £3.99
5. Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Palette (i use this for my brows and eye shadow) £50.00
6. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner "black" £15.50
6. Benefit They're Real Mascara £19.50
8. Collection Black Khol Eyeliner "black" £1.99
9. NARS Bronzer "Laguna" £26.00
10. NARS Blush "Orgasm" £21.50
11. MAC Cremestick Liner "Enriched Red" £11.50
12. MAC Lipstick "Russian Red" £14.00

TOTAL = £194.66

I cant believe how much my total is although its fairly a small sum of money to what i have seen other people face's worth and you have to take in to account of the price of all my brushes moisturisers and everything before. Its crazy how much we spend on make-up but i seriously wouldn't spend my money on anything else

Have you done this tag? How much was your face worth? If You would like to see separate reviews on any of the products i have mentioned please comment and let me know.

My Mac Lipstick Collection (So Far)...

Recently since trying the Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipsticks i have gone a little mad for lipsticks, especially MAC. Im really enjoying trying new colours and experimenting. Of course everyone loves MAC their lipsticks are one of their trade mark products with the signature vanilla scent and all the different finishes. Every single person is bound to find a perfect shade and finish to match them.

So as you can see i only have 5 at the moment but since i've only been into lipstick since about easter and the are £14.00 each i don't think thats to bad!!!
So i will take you through them one by one from left to right!

1. Cyber - Cyber is a satin finish and is a very deep purple. This was the first MAC lipstick i purchased i like to wear this when i feel in a very rock chick. Its a very strong colour and i like wearing strong colours as i have a really small top lip and wearing bold colours makes it look a bit bigger. I usually apply this and then blot with a tissue as i don't like it to be to to dark.

2. Russian Red - This has a matte finish which i love and i don't feel like its matte as its very moisturising, as you can tell from the title its a very vibrant deep red its staying power is simply amazing i apply about 9.30 when i go to work and even with drinking tea and eating all day it stays put. Also because my uniform is black and red i wear this alot (i like to colour co-ordinate)

3. Girl About Town - I brought this when shopping with my friend Tanice i said to her i wanted a nice bright bold pink and this was the first one she said instantly, i love it, its an amplified finish which is a very shiny moisturising finish. Its a pink with a few blue tones i would say.

4. Chatterbox - This is also an amplified finish, i brought this lipstick because i get up so early on a saturday for work (start at 9 so not that early ha) and when doing my makeup i think its a bit early for bright bold colour so i wanted a more subtle that i could just throw on and was an easy wear. Its a nice true baby pink which complements everyone so well.

5. Snob - This is my favourite lipstick at the moment, especially for nights out it looked really well with my spray tan i think i'm defiantly going to be taking this on holiday with me. Its a lush light baby pink with purple tones. Its a satin finish which i'm really liking.

Im going over to my local MAC counter next week so no doubt i will end up with another one (think i'm slightly addicted) i want an orangey coral colour, if you no any colours which you think look nice please comment and let me no!!!

Tigi The S Factor Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner

I went into my local Sallys wholesalers last week to grab a couple of bits for the salon as it was a VAT free week.
They didn't have what i was after so i decided to have a quick look around and spotted that they had now started selling TIGI products. I absolutley love TIGI!! Their products are lush smell amazing and really good for your hair.

Well it had been a while since i treated myself to a nice decent shampoo and conditioner and i thought why not ey!! the chlorine on holiday is going to kill my hair so it deffo needs some loving before i go.
I was spoilt for choice as they have 4 different ranges and lots of different shampoos that do different things. After a good 15 minutes reading all the labels and thinking about what my hair needed (a good chop if we're being honest) and decided on "The S Factor Smoothing shampoo & Conditioner"

I had never used The S Factor range but i'm very familiar with the Bed Head and Catwalk ranges, ive heard some fab reviews on it so i needed to try it for myself. I got the 750 ml bottles as you always get big salon sizes at the wholesalers which is great as they last for ages and they are a really great price because i have a trade card i get them for £12.50 each. You can buy TIGI duo packs online from websites like www.feelunique.com for really good offers.

Well lets start with the smell its AMAZING its like a fruity flowery sweet bubblegummy scent you want to eat it!!
As you can see in the second picture they are different in colour the shampoo is on the right and has a pinky colour and the conditioner is on the left and is white in colour. Ive been really loving this shampoo you really don't need alot of shampoo it lathers up really well.
I defiantly think its made my hair alot softer and smoother and for the amount of product you get for the prize i think its defiantly a bargain worth buying i cant wait until i can afford to go back in and buy some more of their products to try.

Superdug & Body Shop Haul

So this saturday i finished work early, this is rare for me and i felt kind of at a lose end having a free afternoon. So i decided to go into town for some (not needed) retail therapy.

I had been lusting over a few things from superdrug and was running low on body butter so thought i might aswell go for a mooch round the body shop. Im going on holiday in just under 3 weeks so i'm trying not to buy things if i don't need them but i just couldn't help myself and i justified it with the fact that i don't get time to go into town so i wouldn't be visiting either of the shops in the near future.

The Body Shop
1.Brazil Nut body butter £13.00
2. Peach body butter £13.00
3. Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub £7.00 (was a free gift)

Superdrug
1. Bourjois Colour Boost "03 orange punch"£7.99
2. Bourjois cream blush "02 healthy glow" £7.99
3. Sleek blush by 3 Candy Limited Edition £9.99
4. MUA undress me to eyeshadow palette £4.00

Im sure your all aware of how amazing the body shop body butters are and how amazing they smell, its the product they are most famous for. I always get brazil nut i love the smell so much and is one of my holy grail products. As i am going on holiday i wanted a more fruity fresh smell for that so i've gone for peach it smelt like i could of actually eat it and i'm looking forward to using it on my holibobs.
I signed up for body shops loyalty cards to receive money off every so often and free gifts on my birthday (who could say no to free gifts) it was only £2.40 for the card and i received a free gift of the foot exfoliator which i'm sure will come in really handy at work for pedicures.

My swatches aren't great i no, i'm still trying to get the hang of taking perfect swatch pictures (sure ill get there one day) On the left is the bourjois colour boost. I love the concept of this a giant lip pencil that applies like a lipstick but looks like a gloss without the stickiness i can see my self using this when im running late for work or in a rush,
. I love the packaging and the fact you can twist the bottom to move it up. no sharpener need!!! Yayyyyyy cause lets face it nobody's got time to sharpen things that big. im also loving orange tones at the moment i think the thought of going on holiday and actually being in the sun. On  the right is one of the new bourjois cream blush i've never used a cream blush before but i've read a couple of other bloggers raving about these so i thought id give it a go.

Now this is the bad boy i've had my eye on for a while, i think sleek is such a great drug store range and really affordable  You can get lots of great colour blushes and their eyeshadow palettes are amazing. This limited addition blush candy palette contains 1 cream blush (far left) and 2 powder blushes, i normally go for quite bland blush colours but i want to be more daring im really looking forward to trying the lilac toned one (the middle) and experimenting and with such a great pricetag its hard to resist.

I have never purchased anything MUA before but have seen people rave about it and everything is so affordable. This palette was only £4.00!! ONLY £4.00!!!!!!!! i couldn't believe it. I love smokey eyes and this looked like the perfect thing for that. I tried to swatch this on my wrist but i got in the biggest state of my life (deffo need to work on the swatches) but from what ive used so far the pigmentation in them looks fab not sure how long they will stay on my eyelids for but 'ive got such positive feeling about this one and my next night out this will be the palette i am using.

Did you buy anything nice this weekend? Have you used any of these products leave links to your blogs so i can read your opinion on them?

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipsticks

Recently i've been wanting to experiment more on the colours i wear on my lips. Ive always stuck to natural lips in the day time and rocked out my bright red lips on a night out or evening occasion but i've wanted to come away from red and delve into all kinds of pinks corals and even dark plum colours.

I didn't want to go out and spend lots of money on high end lipsticks when i wasn't sure whether i would like wearing new colours, so i decided to take a trip to my local boots.
I didn't really have a brand in mind but i new i wanted a plum colour as i had seen MAC "cyber" and really wanted to try it. I swatched a lot (my hand was a mess) and finally decided on Maybelline Colour Sensational in the colour "338 Midnight Plum" £7.19

In the next week i was hooked and picked up 2 more shades in the colours "910 Shocking Coral" and "902 Fuchsia Flash"

The formula to these lipsticks are lovely they go on really well, i did find you need a couple of layers to build up the colour. They felt very moisturising at first but as the day goes on it does get dryer and you do need to reaply. They don't really have a  particular smell packaging is nice and i like how you can kind of tell what kind of colour is going to be on the inside from the colour on the outside.

I would defiantly use and recommend these through out summer and boots usually have them on 2 for 3.
Using these have really made me braver and i have gone out and brought some high end MAC lipsticks which i am loving ALOT. I will do a blog post on them shortly.

Whats your favourite lipstick for this summer?

My amazing job

As i said in my first post i am a fully qualified nail technician and have been for around 4 and a half years now I love it, its like the best job you could ever have all i do is sit down do nails, be creative, gossip alot and drink endless amounts of tea a day, great right?

I no people tell horror stories of getting their nails done and how they ruined them afterwards and yes i admit they can damage nails IF they are applied by an untrained technician or someone using illegal products (there is alot of these out there these days) you can tell if they are illegal as they wear masks. Also if you pull and bite your nails of you are bound to damage them as they are bonded to your nails. I would always recommend to get your nails soaked off professionally.

I just wanted to share with you today some of the designs i do, if you have any questions on polishes techniques i do please feel free to comment and subsribe.

Benefits "How To Look The Best At Everything"

One sunday me and my family travelled up to a town near us called Lemington Spa where my cousin is currently living in his 2nd year of uni and it was his birthday. We thought it would be a nice idea to go out for lunch and have a mooch around the shops. I was looking forward to this as they have a hugeee House of Fraiser that stocks alot of makeup counters, alot more then the one from my hometown which lacks alot of my faves.

I didn't have the usual amount of time to swatch and go to and forth on what to buy as my family really aren't into the whole make up thing and were rushing me slightly so i decided on buying Benefits "How To Look The Best at Everything" in the colour light. As i'm fairly new to benefit products i thought it would be nice as everything comes in sample sizes and i can try it all for £25.50 without paying full prices for everything.

It included:
1. The Porefessional 7.5ml
2.Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow brightening foundation
3.Boi-ing 1
4.Boi-ing 2
5. Me Vain? champagne pressed powder
6. Compact brush

I was really excited to use the box and got up extra early for work the next day to use it.
The professional (pro balm to minimise pores) is such a lovely product it smelt lovely and made my skin feel amazingly smooth, i wouldn't say it reduced the look of my pores (there not that noticeable anyway) but defiantly made my makeup stay on all day and go on alot nicer. I am 100% going to purchase a full size of this.

The foundation was pretty much way to dark for my skin but i didn't expect it to be a perfect match as i am pretty pale, i  did have a spray tan a week ago and then it went perfect with it but i would say it wasn't a very high coverage.

Next was the boi-ing concealers which i'm still loving and use every day i feel number 1 is to light and number 2 is to dark so i mix them together to get a good match they really work well under my eye i like to apply with a brush and press into my skin.

Lastly is Vain me? champagne pressed powder its a nice formula and goes on nice i usually use more transparent powders but it was nice with a tan. I didn't use the brush that came with it but its a pretty cute idea.

I would defiantly recommend this if you are new to benefit products and want to try a few out.

Toni & Guy Hair Products!!

So recently on one of my many random trips to boots i was wondering around the hair section looking for something to treat my (really quite badly) damaged hair!
I have been bleaching my hair for years and was white/grey blonde since i was 19 but recently i had an allergic reaction to bleach which made my scalp come up in horrible blisters which were sooooooo painful and i knew i couldnt go on bleaching it fully, the time had come  to kiss goodbye to my lovely blonde locks and say hello to new healthy brown hair!! Even though i haven't bleached it fully in about 6 months its still very dry and needs TLC!

There were so many masks and rescue remedies to choose from and i had a really tough time choosing what to get and thought i can always try different ones when i'm finished with them. So in the end i decided to go for Toni & Guys Nourish Reconstruction Balm (£7.19) i've never used any of there products before but had heard a few of my friends use them before. I also picked up a Toni & Guy Glamour Volume Pumping Whip (£7.19) i saw the words new and volume (2 of my favourite words) and i had to buy it instantly.

They come in nice packaging, pretty simple but i kind of like it that way. It smells amazing i'm not the best at describing smells but its not floral or fruity but like a nice rich perfume. Its what i would expect my hair to smell like once i've just been to the hairdressers.

The first time i used the mask i had my shower got out towel dried my hair and combed it through. I put a decent sized amount of product on my hand and ran it generously through my hair. I then got a comb and then combed it through so it got to all parts of my hair. I then popped a towel round my hair waited 5 - 10 minutes and rinsed off. (you can alternatively do this in the shower and while waiting exfoliate, shave do all them girly bits)
I must say after a good 4/5 times using it my hair has felt in much better condition even after like 2/3 days after use it still smells and feels lovely.

I didn't have high hopes for the volume whip as i have used alot of products promising volume and never had much joy but after using this i can actually see and feel the volume in my hair. I put a samll amount not to much product on my finger tips trough my head upside down (while hair is damp) and generously rub into the roots. Don't put to much on or when you dry your roots can become hard and feel gooey. I then dry my hair upside down until the roots are dry and then dry normally.

im not 100% in love with either of the products but i have been pleasantly surprised they are defiantly helping my hair get back to a normal sort of state especially while on a budget.

Peace, Love & Chloe ☮ ♥

Ive been wanting to start a beauty fashion and lifestyle blog for a while, i read so many great ones, subscribe to so many amazing vlog channels that now before i buy a product i will see if my favourite beauty gurus have an opinion or a cheaper dupe that will be better for me.
i also feel like i no them without having ever met them which is kind of a creepy and weird thing to say but thats how i feel ha and i just thought i would like to share my opinion and help others just the way people have for me :)

So i'll start with the boring basics and get them out of the way.
my name is chloe im 22 and live in northampton.
im a self employed nail tech and i love my job so much its not one of them boring jobs that you have to drag yourself out of bed for and believe me i've had my fair share of them.
i still live at home, go out with my friends most weekends and generally love life.

im a little bit obsessed with makeup i always have been but more recently i've gone a little bit OTT, i blame my friend tanice the only friend to go beauty shopping with!! she wont get bored of the amount of time we spent in boots or superdrug, she also writes her own blog which you can find HERE
I used to only buy Bobbi Brown (mainly because it was what my mum used) but recently i've ventured into the worlds of MAC, Benefit & NARS and ive been buying alot more high street brands which i'm truly loving (favourite at the moment Rimmel wake me up concealer)  nothing makes me happier then coming home from shopping and wanting to do your whole makeup routine there and then.

right now i'm off to make the dinner i've recently started slimming world so am cooking alot more and i must say i think cooking is something i could of got into if i didn't nails but thats a whole other blog post.
